Vernal

So I guess everyone should know yes we moved again i
hate it but it was necessary. We moved back to Vernal, ugh...the
reason why we moved again was that ok wait let me start from the
beginning or else it won't make any sense lol So in August 07
we moved to Clearfield, Andy had gotten a job hauling us mail from slc
to Denver. Ok and in November 07, he fell out of his truck while in
Denver and ended up tearing his meniscus tendon. He went on workman's
comp and his dr said that he needed surgery to fix it and it would be 4
wks recovery at most. Haha! Well he had the surgery in Dec. 07, did
physical therapy all that. Well 4 wks come and it still hurts. He got
then got these shots that replace damaged fluid in his knee, they did
nothing to help. Then his Dr did another surgery in May 08 to clean up
the arthritis. He did the physical therapy again. His Dr knew there
wasn't much else to do so later in 08 he saw him again and he wanted to
do another surgery. One that was extremely evasive where
they drill holes in his knee to make it scab up to hopefully make it
heal. Guess when he wanted to do it March 09, a month after Abby was
born. And Andy would of been in a knee immobilizer for FOUR MONTHS!
Well his workman's comp lady was pissed when she heard that cause he
could of done that in May with his last surgery and been outta the
brace by now! So anyway, we figured that is what would of happened and
went on our little way. Well in September, Workman's comp had a Phoenix
doctor evaluate him and he told us that he would not disable him. Well.....on
my Bday last year I went outside to get the mail and I see a check from
the workman's comp company not a big deal, we were expecting the
paycheck. I open it and I about hit the ground cause I read it was for
$5000.00. I brought it in to Andy and he called Workman's comp and they
said you are disabled, we will not be paying you anymore, bye. Just
like that. Well we were going to move to Vernal then, but it didn't
work out. So he was going to work p/t until Abby was born, no one would
hire him. Ok so we had some savings, no big deal. Well in January CR
England hired him, ok great fantastic! He told them he start a week
after Abby was born. He had orientation first, got to the 2nd day of
it, they tell him oops you don't have enough experience, you gotta go
through training for 90 days for $1200 a month. Yeah right. So he kept
looking for work, everything was like a stupid dead end! Very
frustrating! So as our savings are running out we make the
decision to move to Vernal. Because we can live with Andy's parents for
a month or two until Andy finds work and we find a place to live. If
you don't know Vernal, its ran by the oilfield, and even though the
oilfield is slow right now. Housing is still high extremely high. So
thats what we did, it's still very weird to be living here again. I
never thought I'd see the day where we went back home. After living in
Layton for almost 2 years its like very quiet and dead here lol very
strange. but we'll get used to it. Also whats good is that Andy's
parents run a river running business that is way busy in the summer so
he'll be able to work there and make some extra money too.So yep we're back in Vernal for good.
On a different note, little miss Abbygail is one month old today! Holy cow! It seemed like it took soo long to get her here and now she's growing up so fast. It's really amazing. I love seeing her do new things and grow.
And Elizabeth Kae will be 3 on Saturday. I can't believe I will have a 3 year old! She's getting so big! She's incredibly smart, you show her how to do something once and she's got it!
I love my girls so much!
