New Pics of the Girls

56 Days

Today Abby is 56 days old, the exact age Elizabeth was when she came home from the NICU. It's crazy how 12 weeks of utero can make such a difference.

Elizabeth at this age weighed 5 lbs 2 oz, Abby probably weighs close to 10 lbs.
Elizabeth didn't even fit into Newborn size clothes yet, Abby has outgrown her Newborns.
Elizabeth came home on oxygen, thank god Abby never needed any.

And of course the biggest difference is that Elizabeth spent 56 days in the NICU & at this time which is 9:01pm, we weren't even back to Vernal from Salt Lake yet. And Abby came home from the hospital when she was 2 days old.

I Give Up

I really really at the end of my rope. I give up. Every job that comes up never works out. This job was the light at the end of our tunnel, but somehow we took a wrong turn.

For the last couple days Andy has not been able to get a hold of his boss. He said his wife was pregnant so we were wondering if she went into labor or were they ignoring us. Well this morning Andy went to his doctor appointment (he has a staff infection in his eyes) and when he got home he tried calling again, no answer. I brought up that we should have someone call him but we would have to find someone out of Utah cause he'd recognize that it probably is associated with Andy. So we called his sister in Idaho & she called & guess what.....he answered.

Then I figure that he figured out that his sister was associated with Andy cause like 2 minutes later he called him. He said that the truck he was going to be in had a blown engine suddenly & he couldn't start for a couple weeks. What a liar. Why would someone run their business like that, lead someone on like that. Especially since he knew that he had been on workman's comp and no one in Utah would give him the time of day for a job. Why would he do that?

So what are we supposed to do now? We can keep looking & how many other people are going to mess with us like that? Or not even give us the time day? I'm so lost right now, I can't even see straight. I'm so sick of this crap, really sick of it.

Update

So Andy talked to his boss today & they told him that one of the two people they hired to start immediately, didn't work. I guess one of their MVR's was not clean. Sooo, Andy gets to start earlier!! They still have to get the approval from their insurance to hire him but since he does have a clean MVR that's not a problem. So Andy will start work tentatively Thursday.

So here's our plan...

We decided that since it'll be a pain to push to get into a house this quick, I'm going to stay in Vernal for a couple weeks & Andy is leaving to drive to Penrose tomorrow afternoon. He's going to be sleeping in the truck & living out of truck stops the few days he will have off. We figure it's better this way because then when me & the kids come out there we will have a couple paychecks. So it works out.

What sucks is that Andy is sick, so I'm really hoping that he gets feeling better by tomorrow. He might have strep so he got some antibiotics & if it is strep he should start feeling better by tomorrow.

But his boss' internet is down so he doesn't know if his insurance has given the approval yet. So once he hears back from them, well get a date he's starting set in stone.

The Word

So we got the word last night.......

HE GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but........

We don't know when he will start cause they hired two other people that they needed immediately & of course Andy couldn't be one of those people cause we live 800 miles away. But they are buying another truck so when they take possesion of it, he can start. They were hoping that it'd be ready by the end of the month, now it looks like around the 15th of April. But the only way he wouldn't start & not have a guaranteed job is if the person they are buying the semi from is screwing with them & they don't buy it. I have a feeling that won't happen. So we gotta figure out & talk to this rental agency in Florence if we can some how secure the house we want w/o losing alot of money if something doesn't work out. Or if we can't we gotta decide when to look at other house & how we are supposed to move with Andy driving the Uhaul & me driving the car. I honestly don't think I can deal with these two for 7 hours by myself. It was hard enough with Andy in the car with me. I had a sippy thrown at my head around Dinosaur coming home. lol I don't know we have so many things to figure out right now.
