An update

So since I haven't updated in awhile I'd figure why not now!

So Andy's still working hard 6-7 weeks at a time, it's not the easiest thing in the world but we get by. He's still out for 3 more weeks with this run.

Elizabeth is 3 1/2 now, can't believe that she is...she's growing up too fast. She comes up with the funniest things to say and do..also I've never in my life seen a 3 year old as polite as she is. It's always "thank you" and "your welcome", "good mornings", "good nights". She's almost 100% potty trained (during the day) now. HALLELUJAH!! lol

Abby's 6 months old now, has it really been half a year since I had my little baby! She can sit by herself, and she scoots across the floor, she goes ALL OVER the place. I just took her to her 6 month check up, she's 17 lbs 12 oz & 27 inches tall. She's a big girl. I think both our girls are going to be tall.

Me I'm just dealing with everything else I guess lol. Keeping everything in check, that's my job! We're still in Vernal, we will be for a while.

Picture Time

Andy's off

So Andy is back to work, he just left for billings, for the first time since he got hurt in 2007. Finally everything is starting to feel like it's working out for the better. Getting back to normal again! I just can't wait until we can move up there, into our own house, with our own little family. Yes it's going to suck having him home only one week a month but you know what that's a better schedule than any other otr company out there. Plus I think we'll all be more used to it by the time we move also. I'm so happy its starting to work out.

Montana Update

So I just heard from Andy...

HE GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But we may have to move to Montana....cause we were under the impression that Andy could drive the truck home & no big deal we could stay in Vernal. But now they say it's gotta stay up there. So...since we do only have one vehicle at the moment. We don't know if it would be best to move up there or stay here. Cause on Andy's days off he would have to drive 9 hrs to get home. I looked at flights the cheapest I found was $70o round trip from Butte, Mt to SLC, Ut. Also I have to over night Andy's birth certificate to him cause for this job he'll have to go into Canada. Of course he doesn't have a passport & didn't think of taking his birth certificate. And since Andy was adopted I'm sure I'll have to over night his adoption papers with it. So he doesn't get to the border and say "hey why does your birth certificate say James Inderrieden & your drivers license say Andrew Morrison" yeah....that wouldn't be good. But luckily until June I believe he can cross the border with just the birth certificate. Hopefully by then he'll have the passport. I'm so so happy & relieved he got this job! And so so so stressed on figuring everything out that goes with it!

March for Babies

Hi everyone I'm doing a fundraiser for march for babies again this year. I wanted to walk but there is no walk in Vernal sadly, so I'm just doing the fundraising part of it. So if you would like to donate click on the link below. We need to help babies get their 9 months. Elizabeth didn't get her 9 months, she only got 6 months, born at 27 wks 1 day. But we're grateful that she is healthy today & has no side effects of being preemie. And we are grateful that Abby did get her 9 months!
Please donate if you can!
Thanks!

Doctor Appointments

Elizabeth had her 3 year old appointment today & Abby had her 2 month old doctor appointment today. Elizabeth is 38.5 inches tall & weighs 30 lbs, she's been at 30 lbs for a year. She's just bound to be skinny. The doctor said that she has no signs of being premature at all anymore, & we went to the dr that we had before we moved to Layton before, he's known her since she came home from the NICU. And he's still surprised that she's got an outie belly button, she's stuck with that for life.
And everything looked really good with her. And Abby weighs 10 lbs 2 oz & 22 inches tall. It's crazy that she is that big, Elizabeth was 4 months old before she was ever that big. And everything looks good with her too. Of course they both got their shots, that was not fun. Elizabeth only needed one a Hep A, all her lovely shots come at 4 years next. Abby got a whole bunch, she hasn't had a reaction or nothing yet to them, she's doesn't have a fever either which is good. She's just been sleeping a lot since she got them.

It's crazy that Abby is 2 months old today, she's growing up so fast. Seems like she was born just yesterday! And I need to see if I can get Elizabeth into a pre-school or something, she'd really like that.

New Pics of the Girls

56 Days

Today Abby is 56 days old, the exact age Elizabeth was when she came home from the NICU. It's crazy how 12 weeks of utero can make such a difference.

Elizabeth at this age weighed 5 lbs 2 oz, Abby probably weighs close to 10 lbs.
Elizabeth didn't even fit into Newborn size clothes yet, Abby has outgrown her Newborns.
Elizabeth came home on oxygen, thank god Abby never needed any.

And of course the biggest difference is that Elizabeth spent 56 days in the NICU & at this time which is 9:01pm, we weren't even back to Vernal from Salt Lake yet. And Abby came home from the hospital when she was 2 days old.

Elizabeth 8 weeks old

Abbygail 8 weeks old

I Give Up

I really really at the end of my rope. I give up. Every job that comes up never works out. This job was the light at the end of our tunnel, but somehow we took a wrong turn.

For the last couple days Andy has not been able to get a hold of his boss. He said his wife was pregnant so we were wondering if she went into labor or were they ignoring us. Well this morning Andy went to his doctor appointment (he has a staff infection in his eyes) and when he got home he tried calling again, no answer. I brought up that we should have someone call him but we would have to find someone out of Utah cause he'd recognize that it probably is associated with Andy. So we called his sister in Idaho & she called & guess what.....he answered.

Then I figure that he figured out that his sister was associated with Andy cause like 2 minutes later he called him. He said that the truck he was going to be in had a blown engine suddenly & he couldn't start for a couple weeks. What a liar. Why would someone run their business like that, lead someone on like that. Especially since he knew that he had been on workman's comp and no one in Utah would give him the time of day for a job. Why would he do that?

So what are we supposed to do now? We can keep looking & how many other people are going to mess with us like that? Or not even give us the time day? I'm so lost right now, I can't even see straight. I'm so sick of this crap, really sick of it.
