Job Opportunity

So last week, a job opportunity came up for Andy. It's for a trucking company out of Colorado hauling beer/pop to Minnesota. Andy would be gone Mon-Fri which isn't that big of a deal. But talking to Andy on the phone the owner told him he'd be willing to bring his truck & horse trailer out here to put all of our stuff in and move us there, that's how much he wanted him. But of course his wife has pretty much final say so Andy talked to him today & he said he talked him up to his wife & his wife wants to talk to him over the phone. Which I take it as a very good sign. Tonight we will find out what the final word is.

But me being a very spiritual person, I look for signs in a sense. I find it very weird that we've been out here in Vernal for almost a month. Andy has looked at numerous jobs around this area, not a one has worked out. Why is it that the very first job Andy calls on in Co is interested in him? Also we drove to Co to meet with the guy & look at houses. The whole drive there we saw dozens of Minnesota license plates, it's not like Minnesota is anywhere near Co. I don't know me & Andy both have very good feelings about this. I'm scared to death it won't work out though.

Anyway if everything works out, this job is out of Penrose, Co. It's down by Pueblo, Co. If you know the Vernal area, Penrose reminds me of Lapoint but smaller. I wouldn't live there. LOL So we looked at a house in Florence, Co which is probably around 10-15 min away from Penrose easy for me to drive Andy to work. Florence is a really nice community, small like Duchesne size but really nice. The people there are so nice too. We went to the local grocery store to look around (the store is like a IGA) but some random guy came up to me and said he was buying a dozen doughnuts but only needed 11 so he asked if Elizabeth could pick out a doughnut and have one. I've never had anybody do that before very nice. The house we looked at is soo nice 3 bd/2 bath, finished basement, deck outback, huge kitchen, 2 car garage.
